Looking back over 2025

I’ve got highlights

Some are milestones

Some are just great memories

I made a lot of those –

Snapshots of fun

And feeling good

When I stop to think about what stands out

I’m drawn to 

What’s important to me

Where did I spend my time?

What got my attention?

Where was my focus?

In this last year I got curious

Well actually

I’m always curious

So….

Really, I got curious about BEING curious

Curious about my curiosity!

I realise, it’s unique

Just like I am

I have a particular penchant, for certain things

And it’s that being interested that fuels who I am

Where I’m going

And what I’m doing

This year I melded old and new

I explored habits and practices that were steeped in history

And I embraced and interacted 

With New Age ritual and exploring the unknown

Not just foreign to me

But a lot that’s not common to humans as a whole

It’s been a wild, mystical net I cast

And this coming year

I’m going to buckle up 

And ride where it takes me

I’m ready to lean in deeper

To carve out a bigger space

In who I am 

How….

Where my curiosity has lead me

Can expand and grow

I’m excited

In the unknown

In the turning blind corners

To see what I find

But also to see how I fit

Into life

Into all that I’ve found wonder in

And how this current version of me

Filters all the experience that has lead me here – 

To this point

To this place

In this NOW

So that I can simply carry on

So, I can’t wish you

“Happy New Year”

I HAVE to offer:

HAPPY NEW YOU!

My heart is full

As I carry on exploring 

I sincerely hope yours is too

And that it maintains

As you traverse the year ahead

It’s a funny thing to me

Saying HAPPY NEW YEAR

It’s like wishing the year itself a great one

If you take a look at the numerology

It has that covered

It doesn’t need any luck

It’s sorted

2026 is a 1 year

Or a 10

And both are automatically ushering in

New beginnings

Change

Initiation

And without pressure or urgency – 

Just an invitation to start

From where you are

AS who you are

2026 doesn’t create the experience

WE DO

It’s identity over outcomes

It’s a year

It’s going to pass whether we label it happy or not

The months are lined up

The days will keep coming

You will always be in NOW – 

Whether you’re rushing or not

What actually changes isn’t the time we’re in –

It’s who we are while we’re in it

That’s the part we get to choose

What matters is how – 

And AS WHO –

We walk through it

We don’t need to make the year happy

We need to feel more like ourselves inside it

Just attempt to fill it with fun

Or figure out what that is…

Relax as you go

Be honest with yourself

Breathe into the hairpin turns

Release all there is about yourself

That holds you back

Or keeps you stuck

That’s all it takes

The intention to

Let go!
