It’s a Great Time to be Grateful
26 Dec, 2025
For me, it’s “Boxing Day”
The day after Christmas
After all the giving and the doing
And before the New Year has started
Along with all it’s promises and resolutions
Most of which are hollow
Or land in a screaming heap somewhere outside the target zone
Just saying……
If you’re into manifestation
Or creating
Or wanting something greater than what you got going on
Here’s a great chance
NOW, is a wonderful opportunity
Just waiting to happen
You’re most likely in the afterglow of great gifts
Way too much food
Maybe a lil alcohol fuelled “Cheer”
And REALLY raw, current, easily felt – experience
Of just what you can be grateful for
It may be excess
It may be the perfect amount
Either way, you’re in the sweet spot
Where, if you lean in to all that was wonderful
And feel the joy
And give thanks
You usher in
You invite
You prepare
For more
More of the same
Now, don’t misunderstand me
NOT more gifts, or grog, or tangible “stuff”
But the essence of all that
You hear me?
Dig into the feel of unwrapping that pressie that someone so lovingly offered
The one that took them ages to save for
The one that was so well considered
The one that was this tangible token
Of all the love and care they feel for you
You’ve been spoilt
Recognise it
It’s the feelings that matter most when we come to manifesting
Not the repeat of more things
Often when we’re busy creating
It’s tricky to conjure from a feeling that’s foreign or unknown
Ask someone who’s never known driving a car
To create a sports car for themselves
It’s kind of a mute point of purpose
SO!
The real grit here
Comes from the feeling of receiving
And right now
A huge number of us
Are lucky enough to know that
To have had that experience first hand!
Just yesterday (or today, depending where in the world you woke up)
Make the gift of giving COUNT
Use it
To pave the way to more
A “New Year” of Joy
A new “You”
A greater experience of ease
And alignment with Life
I’m practicing gratitude not as a checklist
But as a state of “Being”
Because when you slow down enough to truly appreciate what you’ve received
Whether it’s gifts, time, rest, connection
Or simply making it through
You shift something internal
Gratitude isn’t passive
It’s active alignment
It’s saying, “I see the good”
I RECOGNISE it
I MAKE SPACE for it
And that matters
What we appreciate tends to expand
Not in a forced, “think positive” way
But in the way that awareness sharpens
When you acknowledge abundance in its current form
You stop signalling lack
You stop rushing past the evidence that life is already responding to you
Gratitude becomes the reason to be
To stay present
To stay open
To stay receptive
This season, I’m letting gratitude do the quiet work of manifesting
No vision boards, no pressure
Just honest appreciation for what arrived
Even if it didn’t look exactly like I imagined
Especially then
Because being grateful isn’t about settling
It’s about trusting that more good knows where to find you
Gratitude
Is an invitation
An intention
And the rewards
Are greater than perhaps you can imagine
Merry Everything People!
Much Love
Kate & Hope
