Body BFF
27 June 2025
So many of you are consumed by the relationships in your lives —
or often, the lack of them.
The ache of their absence.
The wanting of a special someone —
for any number of reasons.
That’s not what this is about.
It’s more a point of focus that has to have this included,
for you to enter the space —
the mindset —
in your humanness —
that will help facilitate
where we are going,
what we want to share.
There are many forms,
or kinds of relationship,
you can —
and do —
experience from a physical body.
It’s this intersection we want to draw your attention to:
the original relationship,
the longest-standing one
ALL of you have ever had —
the relationship —
or more, the partnership —
you have with your body.
Considering it’s the greatest relationship you have ever had —
that your body is the oldest acquaintance of your life,
and no other can ever surpass this —
the first and last companion you will ever know —
we find it interesting
how so many
don’t value it,
or pay it the attention it deserves.
It’s not nurtured,
or honoured.
It’s often treated as alien and separate —
a thing
at your disposal.
In a lot of cases,
this will be the first time many of you
will ever have considered this:
that in all your searching,
in all your wanting,
from right here,
in this moment,
you are meeting your body —
as a counterpart,
a friend,
a romance of the self.
We highlight this
because a number of you consider your health and wellbeing
to be measured by the body.
That’s where the expression of these occur for you —
where the lack of complete physical, mental, and social well-being shows up.
Beneath the symptoms,
and beyond the stories,
there is a connection waiting to be formed —
a conscious, deliberate relationship
with the physical you.
And like any meaningful relationship,
this one flourishes with presence, care, and love.
If you had a dear friend
that you cherished and adored —
you listen to them,
you make space for their needs,
you celebrate them.
You do any number of things to protect
and nurture your connection.
We wish to take your focus
to contemplating the results
that could be achieved in this area,
if you were to create
a deliberate relationship with your body —
an extension of constant dialogue with you,
seeking harmony,
expressing truth,
creating beauty not defined by appearance,
but the kind that radiates from knowing you are whole,
and in connection with your own being.
Make friends.
See your body as so much more than the vessel —
a consciousness in and of itself,
not separate from your essence,
but in synergy.
Fostering such a connection
creates lasting results —
visceral endearment
that spills over into the way you look,
the way you feel,
the way you are,
the way you move through life.
Knowing you are loved,
supported,
understood,
accepted,
heard,
acknowledged —
are all benefits to truly beautiful relationships.
Imagine all this —
and more —
from a relationship with not only self,
but the very vehicle —
the physical you —
that wants so very much
to relate to you
beyond what you see.
That it’s been doing it
from the moment you came into being —
the very point of your physical creation.
It’s the form of consciousness that knows you better than anyone else can.
It has felt everything you have,
will see all you ever will,
sits in your confusion and uncertainty —
just holding space,
always and forever,
for what comes next.
We hope, sincerely,
the point and purpose
of this narrowing of focus
is not lost on you —
or that you can’t see the benefits we speak of,
that you feel the invitation in it.
When you can gift your attention so easily
to so many others —
remember who’s been there
the whole time.
Never turning away.
Or needing applause.
Every success,
every heartache —
always following your lead,
witness to your journey.
Not even waiting to be noticed —
just carrying on,
no matter what you dish out
or decide —
just holding you.
It’s in the realm of unconditional love.
It means you’re never alone.
Your partner in both chaos and creation
is not somewhere “out there.”
It’s with you now.
And —
stares back…
every time
you look.
Lean in.
Love a little —
this beautiful body
that means you’re here.
Much love
Hope
