Why Come Back?

Someone recently asked Hope………

If the afterlife, or “heaven”, is so profoundly blissful

Why would souls want to return to earth and the human experience again?

This is a great question-

And we get asked it often.

Firstly, souls return to earth for growth, not comfort.

Earth is like a school for the Soul.

Life on earth isn’t a punishment, or random-

It’s an opportunity for growth, evolution, and expansion.

Earth and being in a physical body, provide a unique experience for learning.

It’s here you get to: 

-Learn specific lessons

-Create emotional depth

-Heal patterns of behaviour or belief that no longer serve your ultimate self

-Experience what it’s like to be human in all it’s emotional and sensory richness

“Heaven” is the classroom after you’ve taken the test.

It’s beautiful and peaceful-

But Earth is where the learning actually happens.

Don’t forget contrast.

We learn through it.

It’s how you recognise- or discern- what you have in relation to something else.

And one often, can’t exist without the other.

You only know light, because of dark.

Souls choose to return to the duality because it sharpens awareness and deepens understanding.

Think in terms of pain and pleasure,

Or fear and love.

Earth’s challenges help define these to the human-

And in turn, the Soul.

Then, there’s what you like to call

“Being of Service”

Those of you who find deep personal growth in assisting others-

Supporting loved ones,

Healing,

Teaching,

Guiding-

Lots of you volunteer to return out of love, even when you don’t need to

Some souls are curious and simply want to create.

Earth is one of the few places where creation happens with limitation.

( For now, anyway – this is in a state of change/review currently)

For a great chunk of your history, you have worked under the premise that hard work is required to manifest any number of things or situations-

And the reward of their coming into being

Is all the sweeter,

Or appreciated more,

When you have earned the result.

It has long been thought, that amnesia is part of the game.

(This too is up for deliberation, given the emergence of a number of souls recalling previously unknown details of other existence and consciousness)

When you are here, you forget who you really are.

This was previously, by design-

To allow for a more genuine experience,

And to avoid mass hysteria from your limited perspective.

It has taken, “your time”, to allow a gentle immersion into the idea you can create outside the original parameters.

To some, this is a vastly exciting possibility.

To most, way too much responsibility.

(We shall see…..)

It will be interesting to see where this takes you:

Being able to have a complete understanding from the Souls perspective at all times-

Not just when you have returned to Spirit.

From the broader view- as just a soul-

Even the hardest lives make sense,

And many souls opt to “go again”

While on earth, the appeal in the “aha” moments feels huge-

Because you’re remembering while you’re here, within the human experience.

This changes lots from a life perspective.

Earth- and being human- appeals to the souls who crave growth, purpose, creation and even adventure.

In spirit , or at a Soul level, the bliss is constant.

There is calm and connection.

When you’re in Spirit, you’re surrounded by love-

But you’re not being stretched in the same way.

On Earth, in a body, it’s raw and real-

Which is what prompts expansion.

You get to work the muscles that support ultimate growth.

Is it comfortable?

Not always.

But do you grow from it?

Absolutely.

So even though the afterlife- or “heaven” -is full of love , light, and peace,

Many souls choose to return because this is where the work happens.

The healing.

The breakthroughs.

The connections that ripple far beyond one lifetime.

We hope- whatever your reasons, your choices-

The divide between the two points of focus

Comes to feel closer together,

So that your exploration and understanding in the one

Blends seamlessly into the other….

And back again.

If it’s the Soul’s desire, 

Know- that for now-

They are necessary,

And are designed to enhance the experience and results of each other.
